Welcome to our classroom!!
Holiday greetings to all of our families!! We have been very busy this past month! We went to Petco and met many different animals. The children were able to touch a snake, tortoise, starfish, bird, guinea pig, and lizard. The children had a great time!!
We also hosted our Annual Thanksgiving Feast. The children did a wonderful job making mashed potatoes, banana bread, pumpkin bread, cookies and table favors. We spent a lot of time getting ready for our feast and learning a lot about families and cooking. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us!!
The PreK/ K is working on letter sounds and numbers. We have learned the letter sounds for Cc, Hh and Tt. We have also worked on our numbers to 10. We have been busy learning about Advent , Christmas and other winter holidays.
The PreK 3 has been working on the colors blue and orange. They have also been working on recognizing the shapes of circle and square. We have just begun working on recognizing our own names.
