K and PRE- K have experimented with different materials from drawing frogs, painting with shaving cream, chalk drawings, and fall collages.
1-2 has tied into the class room with cookies week drawings and night time versus day time drawings.
3rd grade has experimented with pattern in cut paper form and hand tracing drawings filled with a variety of pattern.
4th grade looked at a book on sea turtles and created their own 3d paper turtle sculpture. The fourth grade is now starting to explore the art of Henri Matisse paper cuts.
5th Grade created summer foil paintings and are participating in the Christmas card contest.
6th grade created their own pen drawings of made up mythological creatures with Greek inspired details.
7th grade created colored pencil positive radial designs.
8th grade is making their own mandalas and viewed a mandala being made and then destroyed on you tube.
