With hard work and motivation, our junior high students are excelling in English Language Arts and becoming better readers, writers, and thinkers!! 

6th grade is reading The Tiger Rising by Kate Di Camillo. They are working on their comprehension and presentation skills by completing various projects and presentations.

7th Grade is reading Jazmin's Notebook by Nikki Grimes. They are working on their inference and sequencing skills by completing timelines of Jazmin's life and creating plots to the sequel of the book.

8th Grade is taking on the challenge of reading Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. They are working on heightening their reading skills through exposure to new vocabulary and content.
