Busy learning, smiling faces, St. Casimir is the best of places
As we begin the month of December our focus will be on Advent. The children will learn that Advent is the four weeks of waiting for the birth of Jesus. The children helped to assemble the classroom Advent wreath and then made their own advent wreaths. The children will "light" a candle each Monday.
We will also begin to prepare for the Christmas Concert and the Christmas Prayer service. The First and Second Graders will present the Nativity Story. We are working hard on songs and props!
We will also say good-bye to Miss Vagele, our student teacher. We wish her lots of luck as she begins her teaching career.
Finally, I would like to wish you and your family a Blessed Christmas and a peace-filled New Year.
